Deux espèces nouvelles de puces (Siphonaptera : Ctenophthalmidae & Rhopalopsyllidae) du Chili
Agastopsylla guzmani n. sp. (Ctenophthalmidae) and Delostichus degus n. sp. (Rhopalopsyllidae) are described. A key is proposed for the genus Agastopsylla; for the genus Delostichus, a brief comparison is made with D. incisus and D. ojedai described after the issue of the Catalogue of Smit (1987).
متن کاملNucleotide sequence and genome organization of carnation mottle virus RNA.
The complete nucleotide sequence of carnation mottle genomic RNA (4003 nucleotides) is presented. The sequence was determined for cloned cDNA copies of viral RNA containing over 99% of the sequence and was completed by direct sequence analysis of RNA and cDNA transcripts. The sequence contains two long open reading frames which together can account for observed translation products. One transla...
متن کاملfirst report of carnation vein mottle virus(cvmv)) infecting carnation in iran*
carnation (dianthus caryophyllus) can be infected by several viruses that some are specific to carnation flowers. vegetative propagation of carnation, can easily disperse viruses by infectied cuttings. during the year 2007, viral-like symptoms were observed on carnation in mahallat greenhouses. 142 suspected samples from glass houses, with symptoms of reddish- purple flecks and spots on leaves,...
متن کاملgenome analyses of carnation mottle virus iranian isolate (fum2)
abstract during the winter and spring of 2007 and 2008, 450 samples (leaves of carnation plants) showing symptoms of yellowing, mottling, leaf malformation, and stunting were collected from greenhouses in mashhad and chenaran regions. the samples were tested by das-elisa for the presence of carmv. total rna was extracted by rnxtm (-plus) solution from positive infected samples confirmed in das-...
متن کاملUncoating Mechanism of Carnation Mottle Virus Revealed by Cryo-EM Single Particle Analysis
Genome uncoating is a prerequisite for the successful infection of plant viruses in host plants. Thus far, little is known about the genome uncoating of the Carnation mottle virus (CarMV). Here, we obtained two reconstructions of CarMV at pH7 in the presence (Ca-pH7) and absence (EDTA-pH7) of calcium ions by Cryo-EM single particle analysis, which achieved 6.4 Å and 8 Å resolutions respectively...
